Graduate Assistant Experience/Process Questions (Men’s Soccer)

Hello, was just curious to see if anyone in here has had a good or even bad experience being a graduate assistant for their school or even another.

I graduate this year after being a student assistant for 4 years at my current college, and was looking into the hopes of getting one knowing it’s cheap labor and usually in demand.

How was the process of finding one, how long did it take? Things like that I’m more than welcome to hear, thank you for reading and hopefully replying.

53 hours in after vaping for 3 years straight

Holy the withdrawals are no joke, I also suffer from panic disorder (hence why I quit), I’m 21, and decided I need to give it up.

Felt great the first 2 days, but today has been an absolute trainwreck, anxiety has been through the roof, heart rate is super fast, it’s been torture.

Hoping it gets better, if anyone wants to chat feel free to send me a text, we are in this together

At what point did you realize Prozac was for you or genuinely just didn’t work?

Recently started back up on 30mg, and I feel like I’m in a grey area, I don’t feel as horrible as I once did, but I don’t feel good either, any ideas?

Still occasionally experience the intense rapid heart rate jump, palpitations, heavy chest etc, but not nearly as often.

Open to hearing all stories, curious if my experience is any similar.

Fluexotine and alcohol question?

Has anyone on fluexotine or any SSRI in general, as soon as they have one sip of alcohol their heart rate instantly jumps to like 120 and they have heightened anxiety?

I tried a beer for the first time on fluexotine the other day, 3 months free at the time to let the meds settle, and one sip almost sent me into a full blown panic, just curious if this is a normal experience?

Just had my first drink on fluexotine (30mg) abstained for 2.5 months

Hello, I recently went back on fluexotine, and I’m up north and decided to finally try a beer, I had one in about half an hour, and immediately my heart raced, anxiety spiked and got super nervous.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? I used to drink regularly so I don’t know why it would be a problem now, open to any stories, help with this situation, and advice. Thank you

Started taking magnesium glycinate for anxiety and sleep - questions below

So I recently purchased this bottle at Sam’s Club, and it says each pill is 240mg and to take 2, I took it the first night (yesterday) at night before I went to bed and was okay, but the dreams are insane.

How long does it usually take for full effects to kick in? A couple weeks? What’s your experience with it?

Recently switched from 20mg to 30mg - heightened anxiety help

I just feel like it won’t pass, 2 days in and starting to feel the side effects today, don’t know what to do, it’s that deep feeling in your chest, just sucks but I’m hoping this is a good part of the switch and will work out long term.

6 weeks into Prozac, 2nd time around

Hello all, I’ve recently got back on Prozac after taking it a couple years ago, it worked then but since getting back on it, I’m around 6 weeks into it and haven’t recently seen much effect.

My physical symptoms have basically fully gone, but mood is still the same as it was, I’m treating GAD and panic disorder with Prozac,

I was on 20mg before, and started on 20mg this time and so far feel like I’ve hit a wall, is it worth waiting? Maybe an increase in dosage? Different meds?

Open to hearing anything, thank you all for reading.
