This beast was delivered last Saturday but I had to leave Sunday morning for a week. Finally got home, cleaned all the pots and got it dialed in.

This thing rips! I had to sell my Supreme 160 and 4x12 a while back and Ive been looking for a more manageable replacement. My research paid off! This thing has that low end with a bit more in the mids.

It's a perfect pedal platform and while heavy, it's a lot easier to move.

I've been a fan of the 80's and 90's Peavey circuits forever. They sound great, are brutally loud and built like bomb shelters. 42 years old and no bad caps.

Does it doom? Yes....yes it does.

Had to sell my Supreme 160 and 4x12 a while back due to health/financial reasons. I was heartbroken.

I'm back in the saddle and I've done my research specifically looking for the old Peavy clean channel pedal platform with a bit of the Supreme 160 brutality but in a smaller package.

The Renown was #1 on my list but hard to find one that didn't look like it was stored in the bilge of an abandoned tuna boat.

Finally found this gem on Reverb with the original Scorpions and they accepted my offer making it a good deal and in line with the tuna boat pricing even with shipping. Lol

Looking forward to plugging in the old Green Russian Muff Pi again! Can't wait!

I've always been a fan of the 80s and 90s Peavey circuits and build quality. My first ever new amp purchase was a Bandit 65 back in 1987. I've owned 3 versions of the Bandit in the past and my beloved Supreme 160.

These things are secret weapons for punk, doom and stoner.

Had to sell my previous favorite J Mascis Jazzmaster to pay some bills. My wife came home with this for me today! She got it for $400! This is definitely my new favorite and so is my wife! Lol
