Affirm collection debt removal

Has anyone had any luck having affirm delete a collection from the credit report? Two years I went delinquent on my affirm payments while I was in the hospital with my son for two months. They called me asking for payment stating the account was going into collections that day, I paid the entire balance in full that day. I asked the rep if it would still go into collections and she said no. Well it did. Literally states it went into collections on September 20th and I paid it on the 20th in full.
I’m trying to repair my credit and this is getting in the way. Any one have any luck getting affirm to remove in goodwill?
Thank you.

Who do I Settle with first?

I have 3 major collection debts that I want to be done with. Mostly because I do NOT want to get sued. I don’t have the finances to pay all 3 right now but I can potentially pay 1 or 2 if there’s a good settlement deal, I’m just trying to figure out the best move if who’s most likely to sue.

  1. Synchrony credit card: $11,900 balance. Date of last payment, December 2024. I haven’t received any mail or calls from them in quite some time. Unsure of settlement offer.
  2. Chase Bank: $10,000 balance. Date of last payment, nov 2025. Received settlement offer for $2500.
  3. Lending Club now sold to Velocity Investments:
Balance $7000. Date of last payment march 2025
Velocity investment is not willing to settle right now. Only offering payments for the full amount.
    Maybe I should wait?
