I have a question

I bought a refrigerator from Costco.com using affirm. The refrigerator is defective and the repairman said it was in them and that I’m able to get a new one. I got an email from Costco saying that the are going to return my money to the credit card I used. Does anybody know how I will get refunded?
Thanks

Issues With Affirm Card

I've tried chatting with affirm for hours and haven't gotten anywhere. I have been trying to pay a vet bill online using my affirm card and keep getting a message it can't go through. I have been approved and have everything set up with a payment plan already. The vet accepts Visa cards and doesn't sound like it's anything on their end. Affirm just keeps telling me that it should go through but it doesn't. Has anyone had this issue before and have any advice on how to fix it?

Finally I'm rewarded for all my purchases

Highest it's ever been, but to be fair, I use Affirm for all big purchases and pay it off early almost every time

So, I guess Affirm doesn't want to get paid since they won't let me log back into my account

So I always had a great history with affirm. But in the winter of 2025/2026 I was financially struggling and became late more than a few times.

I finally caught up though, even made some advance payments but I guess by that time, they had officially ruled me delinquent.

Well, fine. They don't have to approve me for anymore purchases, but the bizarre thing is, when you don't have good credit with them anymore, they log you out of the app permantely and your blocked from it. This is something I found out after researching.

How inane is that? How am I supposed to make my payments to finish off the last bill that I have? I don't get why they made a rule to not allow you to log into the app any longer when that's the only way you can pay them and no, I'm not searching for their phone numbers that they change often and go through a complication just to pay my bill off when they made a ridiculous rule.

I guess I just wait for them to call me.

I lost the dispute and I’m really not sure how

I disputed a purchase because the merchant sent me the wrong product that couldn’t be returned. I tried resolving with the the merchant but they were unresponsive. I filed a dispute but during the dispute the merchant finally replied to my messages. The merchant said to not return the product, they were sorry and they were going to process a refund.

I told Affirm that the merchant replied and they advised that the merchant couldn’t process a refund if there was an active dispute so I asked Affirm to close the dispute.

After the dispute was closed, I didn’t hear anything from the merchant and my refund was never processed. After a few weeks, I opened the dispute back up and uploaded the screenshots of my conversation with the merchant saying they were going to process the refund.

After only a few days, Affirm notified me they had closed the dispute in favor of the merchant. I’m really at a loss on how this is possible. I can’t seem to figure how to talk to someone at Affirm about my dispute and how it was ruled in favor of the merchant.

Any advice?

Paying Early

Had a small Affirm question. I was thinking about buying a sick 4K gaming monitor, and I would have the money to fully pay off the original price within 2-3 months. If I pay off the original price that early, do I still have to pay the interest fees, or is there no longer any interest?

Hi so

I’m screwed with credit for the rest of my life because someone told me that it would probably help my credit paying back so many loans.
(Well, over exaggerated, more like ten years)
How many loans have you opened?

Afraid I’m no longer going to be able to buy a house. A car. Anything. :(

Affirm Charged Off Current Account

Has anyone else had an issue with Affirm suddenly charging off a current account that was paid as agreed?

I had multiple installment loans that were current with on-time payments. Out of nowhere, Affirm marked them “charged off,” changed the balances to $0, and then refused to allow additional payments through the app or customer service.

What’s even stranger is they referenced a bankruptcy from 2017 even though these loans were opened in late 2025, years after the discharge.

I’m trying to determine whether this is an isolated issue or if others have experienced similar reporting/account handling problems with Affirm.

Also, if anybody has a phone number to their legal department, I am getting absolutely nowhere with their customer service.

HELP WITH LOGIN/POSSIBLE FRAUD

SO. When I try to do anything through Affirm, it tells me there's a freeze on my account. so I go to experian to try to lift the freeze, or look into it, and when I put in my social security number, it pulls up an email that I don't recognize. I can't create an account on the website for that reason, it says I've already got an account and redirects me to sign in. there's no option for not recognizing the email, even though I have my social security number. the email comes up as "gr*********.@gmail.com" so I have nothing to go off except that I know I've never had an email account beginning in "gr"

when trying to call ANY of the numbers I've found,I always get redirected back to the automated system, which tells me that I DONT have any record of having an account with my social security, and to check the website for more details.

it's a total loophole and I'm stuck. for the record, I went through TransUnion already, and that told me that I don't even have a freeze, but I googled it, and it says one bureau can report a freeze, whole others don't.

I need to figure out how to change the email, or who I can get in contact with who can help with getting that email changed, I literally have no idea what else to do. I made it to a person 3 different times, but they all said I need to be transferred to the membership/billing department, and when I mention "membership/billing" to the automated system, it absolutely refuses to transfer me to a human, and will hang up on me after saying it doesn't understand what I'm saying several times.

the lie of the "scheduled" deposit

I have a deposit scheduled to drop to my card the 15th of every month. Every month on the 15th the app informs me that Affirm has received my deposit, that it's accruing interest, etc. It also tells me my money will be available in 3 days.

It never, ever is. We hit day 3 and the app tells me my money will be available in 2 days. Sometimes after that it progresses "correctly" (wherein 1 day = 1 actual day). The majority of the time, though, it doesn't.

Naturally, a customer service agent will be available to answer my question in approximately 2 minutes. 2 hours later... you get the drift. The lack of customer service, the useless AI prelude to trying to get the app to even pretend it's directing you to a human agent... I'm so over Affirm and am actively researching other options.

WHAT A JOKE!!!

Someone stole my identity and opened an Affirm account in my name. I found out because the card appeared in my mailbox yesterday. They have NO SUPPORT number in the paperwork they send out so thank goodness Facebook had a phone number. After spending over 30 minutes talking to 4 different international reps and NOT ONE OF THEM could help me I got fed up and hung up on them as they all kept telling me to do the same thing. When I tried to explain to them that I did NOT open this account and I have no idea what this company even is, they kept telling me to go into my account.

Has anyone had success closing their account for fraud???

The only praise I can give them is they denied all the purchases that the person tried to make because they couldn't verify the identity...

It's been a month and my order total is still not right?

I bought $500 worth of stuff but most was out of stock, ended up only being like $150. Says on the company's website it's been charged and finalized, but affirm still says $500 and is still making me pay every two weeks. At this point I've paid more than the order actually is so affirm owes me a refund, and if it's not fixed in 2 days I'm looking at having to pay another extra $100+. Chat is useless and says they can't do anything. I tried the phone # but the rep said I have to contact the merchant which makes no sense because they have finalized it there's nothing they can do, it's just affirm that hasn't processed it yet. Please help? Do I have to risk losing my 4k credit line with affirm and stop paying until they fix it? Or do I have to keep paying and hope they refund me some day????

Don't trust the Big Nothing!

I was offered a 0% apr plan with $0 down, and it was a lie. They ended up charging me almost 15%! If it doesn't have a down payment, it won't be 0% interest!

Confused

I’ve NEVER been late to paying a payment as I do it in increments of two weeks— and I just got a notification that says “you got purchasing power” only to see this. I don’t know what I did to piss affirm off but 💀

Was I banned from affirm?

So, I originally had like a 3 or 4K limit with affirm. I used my account somewhat regularly. Like maybe 3-4 times a year.. always paid back on time then randomly I logged in and see something telling me to check what my purchasing power would be and they said they couldn’t give me any purchasing power. I was so confused on what happened. I paid on time and everything, never missed a payment. I would pay my affirm before paying my bills if I had too (LOL) i loved affirm! After that I did decide to miss a payment because they weren’t going to let me use it anyways and I could use the funds elsewhere. After about a month I paid everything that I missed & of course I still don’t have purchasing power. Will they ever let me use them again?

My total was more than my loan amount, what do I do?

My total was more than my amount, due to the store needing the payment information and processing before telling me shipping. My items were still in the cart, and there’s no order details from the store, so the order didn’t go through, but my loan is processing. Will this automatically take care of itself or what can I do?
TIA
