Rosalia Lux Tour - San Diego July 3
We saw Rosalia last night in San Diego and I was not prepared. I had not watched any of her performances before going and I can only say that it was such an artistic, moving, beautiful performance, that I had what can only be described as a transcendental experience. I’m a different person after seeing this performance.
Her vocals, the orchestra, the dancers, the lighting, the cinematography all combined to produce one of the most beautiful moments of my entire life. Specifically, the performance of Mío Cristo Piange Diamanti had me weeping. I went online this morning to watch Rosalia sing that song again and I cried again.
I simply cannot overstate how moving this performance was. I saw more performances this morning but I really, really liked how the stage at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego had a smaller, narrower stage than some of the other performances I could find. It made the entire experience more intimate. Thank you, Rosalia, I will never forget last night!
