I have 2 players. I can't get more because they are only 2 friends of mine who know English enough to understand Pathfinder.

I've pitched Abomination Vaults to them and they are really enthusiastic about it. I know that AV is brutal, especially for kind of new players (we've played through a beginner box, I played before that a few years ago as player in a random group found on discord) and I don't have enough experience to know how to tweak the AP.

I'm thinking of the following:

1. Add DMPC and use weak template on all the enemies.

2. Allow them dual classing, but considering they are quite new it might be complicated.

3. Allow them both to run an additional character so that party would be a standard 4.

Do you have any other ideas or experience on how handle this?

Hi! I haven't played or gmed pf2e for a very long time due to irl stuff. Getting back to it and want to run a campaign, but there is so many new things that I'm feeling very overwhelmed.

So, I kindly ask if anyone can provide me with TL:DR of what's new since 2023 , what's remastered (except for basic rules remaster) and are there any new AP that are worth running? The last one I ran was a Season of Ghosts, banger of an AP.

I made a post almost a month ago about the problem with my girl that was left with my mother for a few months.

Turned out, her teeth overgrown and she had trouble eating, the stiff fur was because of the drull. Since then I got her to vet to file teeth and she is eating good now and there were no other medical issues with her according to the vet, but she behaves strangely compared to when I left her with my mom.

She never liked to be held, she tried to avoid me, sleeping in darkest, most cool corners of the room. But now, when I work in the room, she sleeps on my feet, often licks open parts of my skin, she eats from hand easily and I can hold her and she will even fall asleep on my hand. All that change from my side from before I left is that I gave her water a few times and fed her from hand after teeth filing because her teeth were hurt and she couldn't eat hard food for a few days.

Other than that and what worries me the most is that she is now sun bathing... I'm not in UK but it's still hot here, up to 30 celcius hot, 25 in the morning and we don't have AC. She specifically follows the sun as sunlight changes position and stays directly under sun rays. When I pick her up to or pet her, she is hot to the touch, and I know that chinchillas are sensitive to heat and she probably should be hiding from the hotness, not following it.

Any ideas? Should I add curtains to the windows?
