I feel like they’re avoiding a conversation they’re going to HAVE to have soon… especially with their fans

With Chy being about 1–2 months away from having her baby, what are the plans for the pod? I feel like we’re really approaching that point, and I know she’s said it still hasn’t fully hit her yet, but I also feel like they’re both kind of avoiding the elephant in the room by not setting up a plan for what the podcast will look like once she has the baby.

Are we just going to keep getting episode after episode until Chy has the baby, and then suddenly the pod goes silent with no plan in place?

I feel like they should set a clear timeline now. Maybe have the last episode around September 10, announce that they’re taking a break, and then plan to bring the podcast back around the top of January or whenever makes sense. That way, the fans know exactly what to expect and have something to look forward to.

Just continuing to film until she has the baby and then disappearing from the pod for a month or two with no notice would feel so weird. If they plan the break and comeback dates ahead of time, it would feel much more intentional instead of like they’re just winging it.

There’s a quiet power dynamic here that nobody talks about.

I’m watching the last podcast and I see Chy replied to a comment, and it felt so weird seeing her @ and photo on YouTube because the podcast channel still only represents Winter’s name and picture.

So I clicked on Chy’s profile and she only has 2K subscribers, which is crazy considering she’s been doing the podcast for years. I really think Winter never changed the name or picture because it keeps the power and authority with her. Even though they share the platform, there’s still a power dynamic at play when you don’t change the channel name to the podcast name or the picture to give both women equal representation.

And honestly, Winter probably knows at some point the podcast could end, and then she won’t have to go through the awkward process of changing the channel back because it was never changed in the first place.

It also sucks that Chy didn’t keep her foot on Winter’s neck about getting equal page representation and instead just waited for the other page to get enough followers to be monetized. Because if Chy has the baby and decides she no longer wants to do the podcast, she could walk away after years of doing it and all she really got from it was helping grow Winter’s page even more… while being left with barely any subscribers of her own.

Podcast break?

I just watched winter and chy interview with the bad moms and Chy said she slightly still feels disconnected from being pregnant and it still hasn’t hit her yet, and she doesn’t plan on anything changing cause it’s just 1 little baby. winter said at first she was scared because she doesn’t know what it means for the podcast and does it mean they now have to give up everything they worked hard for.

here’s my thing, Chy will HAVE to take a break from the pod, either short term or long term, she’s going to be dealing with the things that can post pregnany and also her first child ever. she’s not popping out a baby then returning to work the next week,

as protective as she is about her family and sisters, I don’t see her bringing newborn outside constantly just to film a podcast but I know she needs the moment like she said

I think the podcast has abkut another good 6-8 months before its sadly over unless they can start filming at chys place for the first few months
