Anyone else had Amazon make a card authorization after removing the card from their account?
Hi everyone, I removed my card from Amazon, but they still did an authorization later. Revolut said Amazon may have used a new token based on stored card details and strongly advised to cancel that card. Amazon support hasn’t answered my actual question.
Is this just a GDPR issue, or something more serious? If anyone’s dealt with this before, or if there’s a lawyer here who knows what the next step should be, I’d appreciate it.
