2 week+ stay in Shillong
Hey wonderful people of Shillong !
I'm doing a solo motorcycle tour in the north east in November this year and intend to keep Shillong as my base for 2 weeks while I explore Meghalaya. Phase 2 of the trip will be to Nagaland via places along the Brahmaputra. Might attend Guns and Roses in Guwahati before I start off to Nagaland. Not sure on the pit stops yet but open to recommendations.
I need recommendations in 2 areas:
Stay in shillong. Perhaps in an extra room in someone's house since might be in shillong only for a few days while I explore Meghalaya. I was also wondering if the churches help with stay along the way. (I'm goan catholic) I don't want to book places and stuff since I want to bump into people and find a way to stay the old school way.
Pitstops as I go from Shillong to Dimapur and if you guys know of things to do in Nagaland.
