Hi! Originally from the US and have only lived in the UK for a year so I am a bit unsure here.
I am 5 weeks pregnant. My husband and I are likely going to do Lindo or Portland for the hospital. Is it common to do NHS up to a certain amount of weeks? The consultant fee we are ok with, but some blood tests and scans aren't included, not sure if that means people go through the NHS for those?
Also, is there any difference in a consultant vs midwife terminology?
