Preparing to set up a 55g for some red eye puffers. If you have a tank for these guys, can you post a pic? Searching for some inspo! 😄🫶

Help me pick!

I was recently gifted a 55g for my masters graduation (woo hoo). Now it’s time to decide how to scape the tank. But, that depends on what its inhabitant is!

Debating between two very different fish. Can someone convince me either way? I’m looking at Spotted Congo Puffers OR Koi Angelfish. Help me pick one! 😄

Thank you

Help me pick a puffer!

Hi all! I'm struggling to pick a freshwater puffer. I am working on putting together a 55 gallon, heavily planted tank. I also currently have pea puffers (in another tank, lol).

I love both spotted congo puffers and red eye puffers! I'm currently on a waitlist for some spotted congos, as I know they are not easy to come by.

So, if you could pick, which would you? If you have either, can you tell me your experience? Thank you so much!

Setting up a 20g long and would love your help picking a single species for my tank! I know these 3 have drastically different vibes, but I love them all and can’t choose! Tank will be heavily planted & hardscaped.

Which one?:

  1. Gardneri killifish

  2. Peacock gudgeon

  3. Sparkling gourami

For reference, here are my other tanks I have set up:

- 20g long with pea puffers

- 40g with pearl gourami, corydoras, and harlequin rasboras

- 55g with goldfish

- 10g with betta fish

- 10g with guppies

Thank you very much 😊
