My girl will stink one day after a bath. This is my first basset and I know they’re notorious for being stinky but MAN…I did NOT realize the dog smell would be this potent. I know it’s technically not good to bathe them frequently because of dry skin. I clean her ears religiously. She’s just STINKY. Are there any recommendations for wipes/sprays/etc. to use in between baths that won’t tear up her skin and mess with her pH or do I just need to suck it up and get used to the stink?

I’m bringing home an 8.5 week old Bassett puppy in two weeks and was wondering if I should start out with a small or medium harness? I know I’ll have to size up to a L/XL as she grows but was wondering what to get for early puppyhood. TIA!

My dog has been vomiting off and on for about 48 hours now. Probably vomited like 6 times total?

She is very lethargic and will shake off and on. She hasn’t really shaken today but was doing it often yesterday. She will eat and drink and go to the bathroom normally but just wants to lie down. Her gums are pale, also. She hasn’t consumed anything weird and hasn’t experienced any blunt force trauma that would cause internal bleeding.

She went to the vet today and they did blood work on her and everything came out normal other than mildly elevated liver enzymes but they said it was unconcerning. They said as far as her vomiting and lethargy and pale gums, just give her chicken broth and don’t overhydrate her as it could induce more vomiting. And then they sent us on our way. Is this normal? I only ask because of course when I Google her symptoms I get severe answers.
