Went bald about 3 weeks ago. Still have all my hair, it’s just slowly moving back and it has always been a bit thin/fine. Usually rock a buzz cut. However, I have not found a way to keep the irritation down!

I have wet shaved, dry shaved, and settled on the Remington rx7 shaver. I also have wet and dry shaved with that, and I still am getting irritation or bumps. I have tried all the different methods of keeping things smooth. Pre and post shave stuff, different lotions or methods to keeping my scalp hydrated.

I wet shave with a DE razor on my face and that seems to work well, but takes forever on my head and I can’t see the back without another mirror (which I don’t have).

If anybody has any tips I would really appreciate it! I would love to continue to shave everyday as I love the clean bald look, but I most likely will not if I can’t figure out how to not look like one giant pimple.

Just got the turtle a few weeks ago, and put it on a uncle seiko strap. Also got a black TROPIC brand tropic strap, and it so co comfortable. Recently took the turtle with me to the lake for a birthday trip. I will be putting a coin edge bezel on both, and possibly replacing the inserts (I do however love the aluminum turtle bezel, just love a nice shine) and possible sapphire crystals. If anyone has had good success with a particular brand, I’d love to hear and see it!

Been doing research on turtles for months now and finally found one that looked great on eBay. According to ai and all the other models I have seen I am about 95% confident I got an authentic 2017 turtle. This leads to a few questions that I am hoping some of you more educated Watch enjoyers can help me with!

Firstly, I can add some more pics of the caseback and movement if it doesn’t look genuine. I did notice that when moving the watch, there is a slight tick (outside of the normal movement noise) when the rotor spins. Almost tangy sounding. I’m not sure how much it has been worn, but to me It sounds like the rotor needs oil. It isn’t loose as far as I could tell when I opened it up.

Secondly, would it be worth getting it in for a service regardless of the above noise? I know these can last forever, but I obviously would like it to run well too if I can get a “fresh” start if you will on the movement side of things.

Lastly, I would love to hear some of your strap/bracelet recommendations. Preferably something that doesn’t add thickness. Love the look of NATOS but this is already a thicker watch and that’s about the only thing that makes a watch unenjoyable to be (being too tall that is).
