I had never seen Cape Fear (1991) until today. Stellar flick, by the way! However, this motif in the score was repeated throughout, and I immediately recognized it as something I've heard not only once, but many times. I cannot put my finger on where I may have heard it, though, and it is driving me slightly Cady.

My preliminary Google searches only say it was used in a Simpson's episode that parodies the film, but I have not watched that. I swear it came straight from another movie, or there is something INCREDIBLY similar that is crossing the wires in my brain. Nothing is showing up in my own research though, so I now turn to you! Can anyone place it? Thank you!
