Alcohol is only legal because it generates tax money and forces people to open up online.
Why is alcohol even legal? A bottle of Jack can floor a grown adult for a whole day only for them to wake up stuck to the floor in their own vomit, even worse, they'd gone on a spending spree on Amazon and bought several thousands of dollars / pounds on something they could do without. They've also gone on social media and DM'd their boss a crock of crap about winning the lotteryand therefore won't be showing for work today... they're still drunk. It's highly addictive, wrecks major internal organs and makes you stupid over time. No, not speaking from experience but mostly from what I've read on Reddit. People do dumb things under the influence of booze. They blab too much details about themselves online risking data security and privacy which is exactly what big tech wants.
