Things have been tough recently and I just wanted to thank you everyone in this amazing community (and Matt and Jeff if you see this) for getting me through it. - fan art request for toolbox stickers!
So yeah, thank you. I don't normally post things like this, but also I've never experienced anything like this before.
Over the last 6 months I've had personal, professional and financial challenges that have really taken it out of me. So the last few weeks I've taken off work and just had time to myself.... Most of which I've spent reading DCC and lurking here. So I thought it was time to post.
I've never fully understood when people say how much a book, movie, TV show, etc has helped them.... But I get it now. This community surrounding such an incredible series has really been my lifeline recently. I attended the DCC show in Birmingham (UK) and someone there thanked Matt and Jeff for how DCC had helped their friend though some hard times and I've been thinking about that a lot since.
To create something so incredibly powerful that it has positively impacted so many people's lives, simply by existing, has got to be the greatest thing anyone as achieve imo. And you guys have done it! And for that we are all thankful and you should be so so proud!
The books themselves have been a wonderful escape, they've helped me rediscover reading as a past time, helped me feel emotions outside of my own tunnel vision of personal life, and given me something to look forward to each and every day.
This community filled with such passion, joy and love for a shared amazing interest has helped me see so much talent in fan art, imagination of theories and has given me something to talk to loved ones about since they've seen my own joy they have decided to read the books also.

Side note - I like to collect stickers on my toolbox at work so if anyone has any art they have created (or just enjoy) I'd love to see it and I'll print it out and add it to the box!
