Where are you finding summer staples that feel polished but not too trend-led?

I’ve been trying to be more intentional with my wardrobe this summer because im tired of buying pieces that look cute for one month and then never get worn again.

The main things i am looking for are pieces that feel simple but not boring like the short sleeve linen shirts, the easy linen tops, or the lightweight knitwear for cooler evenings, denim that doesnt lose shape and maybe a silk or cotton top that works for both work and going out after. I like the general styling of brands like sezane, cos, massimo dutti and sometimes zara but i keep running into the same issue where something looks beautiful online and then the fabric composition is disappointing in person and especially with the recent heat ive been paying way more attention to linen, cotton, silk and lighter natural fibres because commuting in synthetic tops like polyester has been awful.

Ideally I want pieces that can work for real life not just like pinterest outfits like something I can wear to work, weekend brunch with friends, a casual date night where I want to look a bit more put together, or travelling without feeling overdressed.

Where are you people finding summer staples that actually feel worth it lately? I’d love recommendations for brands that sit somewhere between regular high street and full luxury pricing and especially if the quality/fabric feels better than the usual options.
