Looking for modern studio/1B1B near Sunnyvale | Sept/Oct Move-in
Hi everyone!
I'm moving to the Bay Area in late September / early October to join Google in Sunnyvale and am looking for recommendations on apartments and neighborhoods.
About me:
👨💻 28F, working at Google (Sunnyvale)
📅 Move-in: Last week of September / First week of October
🚗 No car initially, so I'll mostly be using the Google shuttle and public transit
What I'm looking for:
Studio or 1 Bed / 1 Bath (prefer living alone)
Modern apartment/community with good amenities (gym, in-unit laundry preferred)
Budget: Up to ~$2,500/month (can stretch slightly for a really good option)
Commute of 30–45 minutes is completely fine
Open to Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, North San Jose, Milpitas, Mountain View, or nearby areas with good Google shuttle access.
If anyone has:
Apartment recommendations
Good property management companies
Lease takeover opportunities
Move-in specials
Suggestions on areas that Google employees prefer
