I've used interactive maps before, but this one ain't making a lick of sense

First of all, it's not really all that interactive. Sure I can click an icon, it'll tell me the coordinates (letter/number), and some of them have concise descriptions as to what the marker is, but that's about all I'm seeing. It's cluttered as all hell, and not actually indicative of whats actually where, and how could it? The map changes every game and there's a vast number of lobbies active at any given moment.

Am I just overthinking it, and it's simply a map of potential locations? If so, why even make it an interactive map? Im not even seeing an option to mark locations off, if, for example, something isn't at a potential location.

And wouldn't it make sense if you could confirm the presence of something at a certain location, and as a result, other items would organize accordingly. Like, if I confirm the location of PaP, then every other possible location in the vicinity would be cleared off the board. Or, if I mark the Fortress at the tower, the other locations would automatically dissapear, at least until the map was reset... Interactively.

Maybe I'm just frustrated and ranting. But maybe someone here can explain whatever I'm not getting. IDK

If a teammate exfils alone, does that effect your containment level?

I mostly play solo, but I've been squad filling alot more recently, and I'm seeing my containment level pop-up mid match, which mostly seems random. I'm not sure if it's showing me increases from doing contracts or decreases. (I haven't actually written one down to track it)

Anyways, a couple times, my teammates exfilled separately, and around the same time I saw the containment level pop-up, which brought me to question. Is not leaving with my team have any effect on containment level?

It could be completely unrelated to their actions, and I'd rather it was, but I'm still trying to understand how it works.

Hey y'all, newbie here, I'm just wondering.... WTF?

Here's me, at the final exfil. There's another player here, as well. We're just killing zombitches, running down the clock, trying not to get trapped in the heli. Usual stuff. But when I tried to get in the heli, it was dropped down, tilted back... Never seen that before. So, I crouch to get in, then all of a sudden it's like 6 feet in the air. But there's still time, and I noticed it landed again, so I tried once more to enter. But, also again, it's dropped down and tilted back, so I try to crouch to enter, but by then it's too late. Has anyone seen this before?

FWIW, I been on this game for 3 days, so cut me some slack if I'm making rookie moves.

To make matters worse, despite having Tombstone, nothing got left behind. I just half the next game scouring the area. No marker on the map, nothing.

Kortz Heist will be the most expensive to host. Like, by alot.

Every other heist only cost a couple million to host- Arcades cost about $2mil, Kosatka cost about $2mil, Facilities, and Agencies, are about the same. High-End Apartments cost about $2mil or less.... But the Mansions cost about $12mil, and will require an add-on that's receiving a $1mil discount (GTA+), meaning it will likely cost a few million, itself.

I don't expect they'll make the payout significantly more than any other heist, as to not make them obsolete, right? Maybe a payout of about $4mil for multiple players, maybe $1-2mil for solo.... Which means it's gonna take several heists just to earn back the initial investment; unlike most others.

I expect it's going to be a fun heist, and attract a lot of attention, don't get me wrong. I'm very much looking forward to it. But it hit me last night, when trying to help my buddy stack up. This is really going to be quite expensive for the host. I'm also wondering if the initiation fee will cost more than $100k, which isn't much, but should factor into total profit for the heist.

Just some late night thoughts I had. What are yours?

Platinum No Claims Bonus award made easy

It appears any damage done on the Test Track at LS Car Meet does not count as repairable damage, since once you exit the track your car is back to the condition you arrived in. So i just got to platinum by driving around the test track for 30* minutes (even though i crashed all over the place)

*My mistake, I thought it was 40 minutes, it's actually only 30

Kicked from survival match for inactivity…. I was dead!

what am i supposed to be doing with my remote while I’m dead?? What a stupid time to perform an AFK check. Or maybe it’s my fault for not continually fiddling with my remotes, despite, y’know… not actually doing anything!

What is the trick to get the Oppressor MK2 to hover in place?

I can't find any consistency to it. I once came to the conclusion you needed to come to a full stop in the air, but no, that's not it. I stay put for about 3 seconds and proceed to descend. Is there a way to ensure you will hover long term?

So I bought Documents & Forgery in 2026...

What a kick in the dick this business is.

Let me be clear, it's pretty much the last business I might buy. I own everything beside Bail, Fwvility, and Helitours, and I'll likely never grab any of those. But I wanted to get D&F to keep the nightclub pumping if I knew it was going to sit while I tended to other things, so why not right?

I bought the cheapest shop, near Mackenzie, and planned to let it sit dormant like all my other MCs when they're not supplied by the Stash House. But of course u gotta set it up, and fill the supply bar at least once, and what they hey... Might as well sell it right?

Ha!

Fully supply bar (which would be 75k, had I paid) yielded me 50k worth of product. I figured, I'm already here, lemme just run the sell mission.

What'd I get?

2 planes. 10 stops. For $50k + high demand. 😂😂😂

People actually dove into this business? WTF was R* thinking with this math?? The owner runs 15-30 minute sale missions for what is practically 0 profit?

I probably should've pointed out that the business only has 1 upgrade, the 100k one, figured I'd at least get something out of the supply stock whenever a Stash House fills it up. But na.... Ain't no f'n way. Ain't no MF way I'm ever selling this product at that rate.

This had to be a joke from R*. Who I've noticed is pretty foul to their uninformed players. I can't imagine how many people invested in shit like this and grinded hours and days of their lives, just to buy more upgrades to get something out of their investment... Poor fools, man. Shame on you Rockstar.

Looking to buy a base Coquette

Not the D5, or D10. From what i can can tell, they’re not significantly different in performance, though they are significantly different in price. I think the base coquette would suit my needs just fine, plus it’s better looking than the D5.

Also interested in a Carbonizzare, or Seven-70

thanks
