10 DPO and tested negative this morning using First Response. My luteal phase is never more than 12 days, so I’m never sure when testing too early is actually too early. I’ve been having a lot of breast tenderness and some mild cramping, but trying to remain realistic that it could also be period symptoms. The wait to test is so brutal 😭 I know I probably should wait until Tuesday to test again, but I’m going nuts here.
This is my first cycle TTC and I need some words of encouragement from anyone else with a short luteal phase. My cycles are usually around 30-32 days and my luteal phase is usually about 10-11 days. Testing two weeks after ovulation doesn’t make sense for my cycle, so I figured I’d start testing 10 DPO. I got impatient because I SWEAR I’m having symptoms!! I was so nauseous yesterday, been extremely/unusually bloated for 3 days so I figured I’d test even though it’s early. Came back negative, and now my temp looks like it’s starting to drop? I’m also starting to spot which is normal before my period, so I don’t know if it’s period spotting or implantation bleeding. Anyone else have similar cycle phases and can advise?
I’m (28 y.o.) still new to TTC and am trying to make sure my algorithm is giving me accurate data. I’ve been off HBC for about 10 months and it looks like my cycles are around 32 days. My temp seem to usually dip a couple of times (see the photo of cycle 7, 8, and 9) but I can’t help but wonder if my ovulation actually occurred on the CD 17 this cycle and not 20 like it’s waiting to confirm. Anyone else have temps tire reads like this?
At the start of my cycle this month, my predicted ovulation was supposed to be CD 19, then it moved to 20 just yesterday. I’m mainly trying to make sure we’re having sex during an accurate fertile window.
