Breastfeeding

While pregnant I told myself that I could combine bottle with exclusively breastfeeding or use formula if I wasn't able to do it. It honestly took 1 - 1.5 months till baby learned how to latch and we have had no issues with feeding since. That's why currently breastfeeding exclusively our 5 month baby and I am reluctant using bottle as I will have a headache with sterilising. My husband suggested me to have a bit patience and at 6 months he can help with weaning. We also think it will be easier breastfeeding for our first holiday as a family. It is convenient but sometimes I do feel that I can't go anywhere alone because he might need a feed here and there. Sometimes is 2 houra sometimes he lasts 4 hours. He has long stretches of sleep and won't eat for 8 or 11 hours, so I don't complain but I still have to wake ip and express once at night. In general say to myself it won't last forever. I hope when he starts solids in a months time I can give him a sipping cup - Anyone with same experience? Hope it worked! I am invited to give a talk when he will turn six months at a conference and my husband is willing to look after him and suggested me to pop out a couple of times to feed him. He can last 4 hours in the day without food usually. I am a bit stressed going back to work for KIT days for once or twice a week in a period of 2 months when he will be 7-8 months. He will start nursery at 10 months so he wouldn't have any other option 😂

Has this happened to you?

Since giving birth I dont feel sexual drive at all!! Is there something wrong with me? I do feel parenting is testing couples and it is tiring. I dont find inspiring having sex with a 5 month baby in the same room or next door...

Other factors that i think have contributed to no sex drive:

-since having natural birth I feel a bit of a shock of the whole experience of birth (it was fairly easy, and no pain relief was taken)

-exclusively breastfeeding - breasts is the last area I would like to be touched

-holding a baby - feels Iike you don't want to be touched and seek time to be left alone to feel like I got personal space

-sleep deprivation

-accumulated tiredness

-associate sex with having babies and I dont want to be pregnant anytime soon

*Note that I have recovered very well and I feel I am in shape, body back to normal appearence and I am back to exercise.

Anyone else with the same experience? I have heard other couples that had no sex since babies were born but I read comments on reddit that couples have sex soon enough but is this true??
