Dalinar and Gavilar
I'm going through the wind and truth right now, and in the prologue, gavilar says that dalinar is a big dumb oaf (or something like that, I'm doing audiobook). I feel like the actions of gavilar in the prologues show that he is not as smart as he thinks, and over the course of the series dalinar is shown as a tactical genius as well as being able to understand a lot of subjects. His failures in politics are not due to lack of intelligence but the lack of experience as well as multiplied attacks from more prepared individuals. In the end, I think that dalinar is actually smarter than gavilar. What do y'all think?
