Comfortable, affordable sleeping pad suggestion
Hello, I'm still an inexperienced backpacker and I'm struggling to find the right sleeping pad.
To recap, for my first trip I went with a super cheap (like 25€) and lightweight pad from Amazon, and it absolutely sucked. It was so thin it was like sleeping on the ground, and I slept 2 hours total.
Then, for my most recent trip to Slovenia I got a camping inflatable mattress, heavy as hell (2kg) but 15cm thick. Slept super well with it, but, weight apart, in the mountains at 10-15°C I was feeling a bit uncomfortable since it has zero insulation.
I started researching, and most youtube videos suggest stuff like the thermarest neoloft, which not going to lie looks amazing but the 250€ price tag is heavy. So, what mattress would you suggest that is comfortable, decently priced and a tiny bit insulated? I know you can't have it all, but I don't need crazy R values as I don't plan of ever going under 5-0°C for the current time being.
What are your suggestions? Thanks!
