Security queues and timeslot

Flying this Thursday with a 3 hour connection in AMS, plenty of time normally to go landside and get some goodies in AH. But I saw the chaos yesterday and am wondering whether I should play it safe and stay airside.

I will fly to Schengen country, so no passport control after security.

I did get a security timeslot bar code, but was wondering whether they actually let you use it in times of massive queues.

Next and last question hopefully:

I read that it would be good practice to mention penalty points in your application. I also read that people get this information from a driver statement requested from the NDLS. So i requested said driver statement and it had no information about penalty points or any traffic offenses whatsoever.

I remember getting penalty points twice and that was probably 15 years ago, just after they were introduced.

So do I just clarify I had two speeding offense a long time ago and can't remember when exactly, or is it not worth the mention.

Looking for some advice from people that were in a similar situation.

Many thanks
