Last night my kid was telling me about the new Mary show, and I said I’m kind of like Mary, but maybe not, and my kid goes, “I see you as more of a Charlotte.” I was like, “Yeah, I can see that, but I didn’t marry Mr. Collins!!……….[looks at husband…..thinks about it…..looks at child……] Or did I?!?!”

Child and I crack up hysterically at the truth of the situation (LOVE my husband, btw, but we both instantly realized there are similarities!). Husband who has yet to read the book is sitting there knowing he’s missing something important.
