Nate vs Baz

On yet another upteenth watch and I've noticed yet another thing I never did before. Watching Beard After Hours and when he and the guys walk into Honey and Bones, Beard tells the guys to strut. Baz immediately starts to walk exactly like Nate did in season 1 "For the Children" when he and Ted are walking into the charity event.

It's just those little things that make me smile and wonder what else I haven't noticed the previous nth times I've watched this show.

Does anyone use rubber heel plates for their shoes during reenactments? I have a Rev War kit and I wear trekker boots that slip and slide all over the cobblestone I have to walk across while doing living history.I feel like this is a no brainer but wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions on what they use or to stay away from.
