Our array was installed Tuesday and fully up & running on Wednesday. I was chuffed to bits watching my OVO account not racking up charges. We went away for a city break on Thursday and came home Saturday. I am quite confused as to why our electricity supply is still racking up a small amount even when there is ample charge in the battery. Yes, it’s a teeny, tiny few pennies, but given we weren’t even home, and as far as I could see on my Fox app there was a huge chunk of charge and the house was taking energy from the battery to power the things we have to leave on (fridge, freezers, alarm system, etc).
16 panels, south facing roof, no SEG/export tariff revenue yet.
What am I not understanding?

I’m not making it up: Lump in my throat

I’ve known about my post traumatic scoliosis since the late 1980s (I’m from the 1900s - forgive me!). For a long time now I’ve been told the lump in my throat is stress/anxiety/poor mental health. I had a laryngoscope stuffed down my neck at one point which diagnosed GERD but a drastic change in diet allowed me to stop the PPIs.
For…reasons…I dug out some old MRI films from the early-mid noughties and did some Google Image searching (yes, I know it can be dodgy) and it identified a deviation in my oesophagus, which Dr Google said, amongst other things, is a sign of scoliosis. There we have it.
It was not stress, not anxiety and not my poor mental health, which are a thing, but not this thing. I was not making it up.
