Medical tourism and M.A.I.D.

My mother (63) has just been diagnosed with Huntingtons Disease and aside from a lot of other emotions, she feels that before things get too far with the disease, she'd like to preserve her dignity. Assisted suicide is not legal here in the U.S. and we are researching legal means to help her. She's not Canadian, so she'd would be paying out of pocket, if it's an option. Is M.A.I.D. available to non citizens if they pay and still go through the review process?

edit: thank you to everyone who helped me with Canada's laws around citizenship and MAID. It is clear my mother would not be able to seek help here. We are going to reach out to Dignitas after researching a bit more on whether they allow loved ones to be with you etc etc. I may reach out to a couple of US states to see if there are exceptions for HD.

AMT-130 therapy questions

Has anyone undergone early stage AMT-130 (Gene Therapy) for Huntingtons? If so, how did you go about procuring this therapy? Has it been successful? Does anyone have any more information besides the couple of articles on google?

Asymptomatic

Well, I'm absolutely devastated that my mother (63) has been diagnosed with HD. The only thing is that while we are at a point right now where we are scared and sad, she seems to be asymptomatic. She got tested because her brothers and father got it in their 40s and have long since passed and she decided to do it.

Do people remain asymptomatic? I imagine it won't be forever: what are other people's experiences?

I sit outside with my chickens and have a pretty good relationship with them. They always run to me and let pick them up.

Today I went inside for a quick second and I came outside to feathers everywhere, specifically in their dust hole. After investigating, I knew she was gone just by how many feathers there were, but I called my husband to help me find her.

Found feathers across the street and followed them into the woods. Found 3 separate piles along a game trail, but no little Henrietta.

I feel absolutely devastated. They are my little flock and Henrietta was the leader and always the first to run to me. I am pretty sure it was a fox because when I was in the woods across the street a realized there was a perfect view from the woodline and have seen a fox peering over the Ridgeline a couple times since.

When they're not outside they have a coop and run inside of our garage. We're supposed to move them outside to an outdoor run, but I'm so scared this fox (strong assumptions because my neighbors have told me after the fact that a fox killed 19 of theirs in one day) is going to make it its personal mission to kill other girls, and my heart is broken over poor Henrietta.
