Has an oil check ever stopped a match?

Has an oil check ever stopped a match?

I’ve watched a few matches today, and this is the second time I’ve seen it done pretty blatantly. I figured it’d be less common today given media scrutiny and cameras, but apparently not. Has anyone ever seen a match stopped or a decision overturned because of this illegal move? The checker won this match. Should the loser have said something?

Is ChatGPT fair about Snipes?

Out of curiosity, I asked ChatGPT to suggest wrestlers for me to watch who often lose, and its first pick was Thomas Snipes of the Citadel. ChatGPT said rather than giving me someone who loses a lot, it’s giving me someone “who regularly faces elite opponents”, which sounds like a more diplomatic way of saying the same thing. What’s your take on its answer?

Get over here

Brucki is leading Bolen around to set up a takedown as he hops him around for a while. It’s one of my favorite moments in wrestling because of the long anticipation. You can see Brucki deciding where and how to make the most of his advantage while Bolen is preparing for the worst. I’m often amazed at how difficult it can be to actually make the guy fall. Conversely, some wrestlers do a fantastic job of bringing down the guy onto his stomach and locking up a leg at the same time.

Is Desanto playing dirty with Gomez?

I watched the video of Desanto wrestling Gomez, and it’s like watching a cat toy with a mouse. Desanto dominated all throughout, and it was hard to miss the scene in the photo. Is that a legal move gone wrong in the heat of the moment or is Desanto lifting him by the balls as a tactic?

Safe. Almost

This has to be particularly frustrating or gratifying. Pinned out of bounds. Anyone have any experience?
