USAFA Cadets and Alumni

I’m a 14 year old boy, and I’m very interested in attending the Air Force Academy. If you have any tips for rising Freshmen on how to approach the high school year I would appreciate them. I’m in Civil Air Patrol, have a relatively good track record so far academically and am building myself up physically. Any tips you guys have on the admissions process, high school activities, and advice for studying techniques and resources would be awesome. Thank you for your time!

US Commemorative Air Force Dauntless

I saw this TBM Avenger with my CAP squadron a little while ago. Sorry they’re not very good pictures. Edit: also sorry about the title I can’t change it. It’s an Avenger not a Dauntless

Civil Air Patrol Orientation Flight

I joined the Civil Air Patrol Cadet program a few months back and discovered they have a flight program that lets cadets fly a Cessna 172 or 182 full hands on for five flights, with a certified flight instructor in the aircraft who takes off and lands for you. Anyways I went on mine and it was amazing. It was the first aircraft I’ve ever flown and I was astonished at how the turbulence affected an aircraft that small. I loved every bit of my flight and am excited to do it again.
