I purchased a Kuromi Poker Kingdom blind box from miniso. My target was the Joker Kuromi. When I opened it I got so excited when I saw the ID card said Joker, but the plush in the bag was a King? I’m pretty sure I’ve heard Miniso has a strict no refund policy, but does anyone else have any experience with this?
My first time playing a coin game at Round1. I’ve seen online that people grab the display prizes to win without the coin. I tried this myself, and when the Round1 employee came by, he said “oh… so that actually doesn’t count and we can’t give you the prize.” I told him it was my first time, and the sticker on the claw machine has a pictorial saying you can grab the prize and put it in the chute to win. He argued that the coin says “put in the chute for a prize” but I didn’t agree since that sounds like a secondary way to win. I was pretty upset since I really wanted this prize, but he was quick to reset the plays in the same machine and walk away. Has anyone here tried this method and gotten the prize, or have you been turned away as well? It was a pretty disappointing time at Round1 since I felt like the employees were annoyed with me, and since no one was walking the floors to reset the prizes, I had to keep going to the front desk to bug them over and over again. Maybe next time I’ll have to try a different location :(
