Transferring from UOA TO VUW

Hello everyone!! Just wondering if anyone had any insight about transferring from Auckland to Wellington, starting in semester 2. Also if there were any scholarship options available as well, I know there’s a late coming one which is dedicated to students who have studied at a secondary school in Wellington, but can’t seem to find anything else.

I’ve lived in Auckland my whole life, but being in uni has had a really terrible impact on my mental health and wellbeing, which is why I’m asking for help with a transfer. If anyone had any insight I would be eternally grateful. Thank you so much!!

Uni life

Hey, I’m an 18year old girl just started out with uni, and honestly struggling a lot. Is this normal? All my friends that I know are enjoying their life, meeting new people, loving their degree - and on the other hand there’s me so who’s never been so unhappy in my life.
Is this normal, did other people experience a uni life completely different to what they really thought it would be?

Hey guys, I am currently starting an article analysis for my 115 class, and wasn't too sure on topic ideas that I could potentially write about, so I thought I'd come on here and ask for some ideas!!

This assignment requires you to analyse a recent real-world economic issue by applying theories and models you have learned in class. You begin by selecting a news article and summarising the key issue, then linking it to a relevant economic concept such as supply and demand, externalities, or market power. Next, you explain the chosen model in detail (including a graph) and use it to examine the issue, considering its short-term and long-term effects, as well as the strengths and limitations of the model. You then evaluate possible solutions or government policies, discussing their feasibility and trade-offs, before recommending the most effective approach. Overall, the task is to demonstrate your ability to use economic reasoning to explain, critique, and propose solutions to real-world problems in a clear and structured report. Covering topics such as: Maximizing social welfare, Supply and perfectly competitive equilibrium, How economic agents respond to changing price signals, Externalities and climate economics, and Market power and regulation.

Thanks heaps!!
