
4K Video Downloader+ 26.3.1, 4K YouTube to MP3 26.3.1, and 4K Video Downloader for Android 26.3.1 are out
This update brings a big batch of fixes and improvements, especially for YouTube downloads.
What’s new:
• Fewer “failed to download” errors on YouTube when you’re not logged in
• 4K/8K, 360° formats, audio tracks, and subtitles are back in 4K Video Downloader+ and Android
• Fewer YouTube requests when parsing channels and playlists, reducing the chance of temporary blocks
• Better handling of upcoming/unprocessed live streams and inaccessible private videos
• TikTok downloads no longer fail, crash the app, or download without sound
• Smart Mode now properly respects the selected codec
• Frequently used subtitle languages now appear at the top of the Smart Mode list
• Better handling of files with non-Latin names
• Higher-quality channel thumbnails that stay after restarting the app
• Several UI, stability, Ubuntu, and macOS fixes
For subscriptions in 4K Video Downloader+, checks are now up to 5× more frequent, and queued subscriptions show their video count.
The update also fixes the Ubuntu 26.04 launch issue, restores sound in the built-in browser on Ubuntu, and brings back the drag-to-Applications arrow in the macOS installer.
