I moved into a new place and contacted T-Mobile to setup the fiber service. They said the previous tenant canceled their service last week and will take three weeks for his account to close out!! After that, I can then contact them to setup internet. They also said they’re trying to put an escalation but doesn’t that would make it 2 weeks at the earliest.

I never heard of this before. I lived in 15 places in my life and never had to wait for the previous tenants account to close before setting up service. So I’m going suck it up and wait for weeks before setting up the internet. Is there anyway to speed this along?

I work in tech and on call 24/7 so having internet is ideal. My phones hotspot isn’t the greatest.
