Why didn’t Riker/Homer just use the USE colony ship design as a basis and expand it to fit more colonists? If they had designed a version that could hold 10X more people they would’ve only needed 150 ships. Which is still a lot and easier said than done I know. Even a version with 2X capacity would’ve reduced potential issues with splitting up groups across different ships. Butterworth would’ve had a cow but I think the bobs could’ve convinced him. Thoughts?
