Italy EMJM Student Visa as a Nigerian

I recently got accepted to an EMJM programme thankfully. My institution accepts CIMEA or the DOV, the latter is cheaper but it would take some time (legalise, authenticate, then translation) however, I'm leaning towards it because I'd still need to process my non-academic documents. I'm generally a bit confused on which is better to get an Italian student visa, especially with how strict the rules can be for my country. Was anyone able to submit CIMEA to the consulate successfully and was approved? What non-academic documents did you translate?
I'd appreciate any and all insights, thank you!

I got in!

I got into an Erasmus programme. Unfortunately, it’s self funded and about 8k euro/per year. I might qualify for a partial tuition waiver/ other scholarships, but I want to weigh in on opinions.

Is the EGEI programme worth it for a self funded student? For context: my undegraduate degree was in International Relations, and this masters could lead me to working in economics policy and analysis. I’d say it’s worth it career-wise.

For any potential self funding partner country (non-EU), did you decline the programme? Should I try again next year? Is it worth the shot? (it’s just two countries- Italy and Belgium)

I’m really happy to be accepted, I was nervous for the interview. Thank you to everyone who’d give their opinion!
