Ftm about to have an ovary removed
Hi, im a 21 yr old trans man. Im going to have my right ovary removed due to a humoungus dermoid cyst... 10cm! Its ridiculous. Im just wondering if anyone else has experianced this? Should I talk with my hrt prescriber about this, since it could lower my estrogen production? Im a little worried my dose may become too high and it revert to estrogen instead of staying testosterone. But maybe I'll just get a better result from the T. Im just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. I
wish I could just get both removed and and hysrectomy and get it over with, but I need to go thro all the hoops of getting therapist notes and etc... this month i just got insurance that can cover that stuff but Im a little lost on where to start.
Edit: i appreciate everyone commenting about hormones but im really looking for anyone with experiance with this surgery who could explain what the procedure & recovery was like for them
