Current trunk length from ground to branches is about 3 feet.
I’m trying to strengthen and elongate the trunk so the tree goes taller so it is more sturdy to hold all the branches and blooms
Last night I was flying solo with my 2 and 4 yo boys. We had a great afternoon and evening, they did their “chores” (clean up, laundry, bath, eat, poop etc) and I let them have 30 mins of a show while I shower.
At 7:15, it was time to wrap up to brush teeth and head to bed. My 2 year old was all ready but it took 40 minutes for my 4 year old to do the final steps of potty, brush teeth (with help) and Pjs. I asked him if he needed help. I kindly reminded him. But he would just get distracted over and over again.
At 15 min, I I asked if he needed help.
At 30 min, I was vocalizing my frustration “mama is getting frustrated and losing her patience since we are running out of time for books and songs” . I told him to walk over so I can help. He didn’t want to move (I’m trying not to man handle him).
At 45 minutes: I was having a firm (louder) voice of “Pjs…Now.” “Teeth…now” “open your mouth, now”. Obviously he started crying and I realized that he is tired and just struggling.
I apologized for losing my patience and getting frustrated. He was still hurt and just rode that into bed time.
At 3 am, he came into our room saying he peed his pants (it’s been happening a lot lately), where I cleaned him and again, apologized for last night for losing my patience and got frustrated. He just said “it’s ok mama with the kindest voice” and snuggled into our bed right after.
I just wanted to say that they really are replicas and if we are forgiving and patient, they are. I was beating myself up all night but just apologizing and vocalizing feelings and modeling how to receive an apology showed me I’m Moving the needle in breaking generational trauma.
I know Terminex is like the mafia of bug and termite services.
Does anyone recommend a termite prevention company that provides preventative services, guarantees, or bonds for termites?
From what I understand, the local companies provide a bit better service and pricing. I want to install bait traps before it becomes an issue.
