I made more wallpapers this week, kind of a "choose your fighter" theme between all the EF music videos that have already dropped, and decided I post them on their corresponding days. One phone, one computer wallpaper each for Dany, Pau and Ale. Dany today, obviously!
... but clearly some in TWA even more so! I listened to TW this much and there's still .06% of people that listened to more in June (also MORE π ). Absolutely wild. Something to aspire to! π€
Went ahead and made wallpapers using the Kerosene music & performance videos, and I leaned into the cheesy B-movie aesthetic, think they're half decent. Did one with and without the text for the computer "movie poster" wallpaper. Enjoy! Still haven't stopped repeating these new songs. As of right now, it's going to be tough for any one song to overtake Ego or Ritual as my #1/#2 songs for the year. It's gonna be August soon, right?
Been messing around with GIMP (the poor man's photoshop) again, I really liked those CG images of each of them in the Ritual video so made some wallpapers using those images. Turned out okay I think, plus did a couple more phone wallpapers. Oh and ended up with an additional Ale one, I didn't love how slide 3 came out so tried something different on slide 4.
Never did ones for Kerosene, as time allows I may do a few for that video as well!
Don't know for sure (because I've been using YouTube music for years and only just in March started using last fm to track my listening) but I'm pretty sure I like Ritual π . I don't think I've ever, to my knowledge, listened to a song 100 times in a week. Not to mention, I'm not even close to S!CK of it. The lyrics absolutely are spot on for anxiety and depression. It's not just a stellar rock track, but as DPA have demonstrated before, they're down to earth (genuinely no pun intended for the music video). They have a great way of looking at what it means to be human. Tough to really describe more but I think this might be TW track I've resonated the most with.

Finally had a chance to sit down and watch my copy of it. (it does have the glitch/error ironically during "ERROR" as someone else pointed out previously, but it's brief and the rest of the movie is just fine).

I did watch the Veeps stream live and have listened to the Auditorio Nacional album a ton but wow with the subtitles, that was like a whole new experience.

And not just as a English speaker for when TW speaks in Spanish but also the intro where fans are talking, plus even just the English lyrics, I definitely had a few misheard lyrics until just tonight. Best example was in "Apologize," and I know it makes no sense whatsoever but I thought the line was "when I'm high upon my nest" and it's really "high up on my meds." π€¦ββοΈ

Oh also, is there official audio for the version of Que Mas Quieres that plays in the menu and on Johnny's radio during the show? It sounds so different from the original but I really like it (apologies if this has been said before)

Once again, Ale/Dany/Pau teasers have released for the upcoming Ritual event on Wednesday and yet again I was inspired to do phone and computer wallpapers. And I know when I did the Ego ones a few weeks ago, someone asked for a Dany specific one so this time around, I made a phone/computer featuring all 3, and also ones for each of them individually. So now you can have your favorite part of the "perfume ad" as your background. It was well worth the time I'd say. I cannot wait for Ritual and the whole album!!

Had to narrow it down, there's a lot of cool moments in the video. The pictures aren't ridiculously high quality but most should work well as computer wallpapers. Love this vide!! Definitely get horror and Matrix vibes from it. The song's already a guaranteed hit, this video is just icing on the cake, IMO.
Whipped up both computer and phone backgrounds after the Ale trailer for Ego dropped! Didn't spend a ton of time but I think they came out pretty well π€
So excited for this song to drop.
