Should my butter be this dark?

It's my first time making cannabutter. Clarified the butter first, decarbed weed in oven. Infused with water in pan at around 170°F/75°C for 3 hours. Finally, filtered through cheese cloth. Now it's chilling, and I have my fingers crossed that I didnt mess up somehow 😅

Assuming it sets, I'm going to do another water wash tomorrow... Does it look how it should? I feel like it's a lot darker than the pics I've seen from other people.

Oh, and it is 7g weed to 160g butter (started with 250g, but lost 90g to clarification).

Decarb in oven bag question

Hi all, first time edible maker as of today... I've just decarbed in an oven bag for 40 mins at 230°F/110°C (accurate temp, used thermometer).. I was expecting the weed to go much more golden/yellow colour, but it came back out almost the same colour as it went in (as far as I can tell). Maybe a fraction more yellow, but very little (pic is after decarb). Do we think this will still be fully decarbed, even though little/no colour change? TIA!
