I've been doing edibles for years and I've used loads of different types like brownies or gummies but that's just basic stuff, I like to experiment with things like infused butter and make some wild stiff like firecracker edibles (wees smores)

Hello everyone! I have +-30g of weed that tastes not too good and it’s just burning my throat each time when I smoke so it even becomes painful and not too joyful 😀
I want to try some baking recipes using infused butter or something. I haven’t baked anything with weed before and I also have another struggle. For now me and my husband are living at his parents house and they are ex police officers so they will definitely understand the smell while I’m gonna be cooking it. So I had a thought to take air fryer to garage and make something there to avoid the smell in the house. Can you guys help me choosing the recipe with an air fryer only? Or maybe the smell is not too strong and I’m overreacting? Or maybe the smell is strongest only when making the butter and after making it I can come back to the house and continue baking in the oven?

I’ve always thought you need to make all edibles with fats(butter,coconut,oils) as thc is not water soluble.

Lately I’m seeing people make gummies and putting rosin etc in as is (after decarb of course), with no other fats in the recipe.

Is there no benefit to using oil / fat in the recipe as far as absorption / bio availability?

Hi all - currently looking into buying a Decarb / Infusion machine (Vivosun, Nebula or similar..). Do you have any experience wth those or a product recommendation?

Looks like it simplifies the process drastically.. I currently decarb in the oven and then infuse in in coconot oil in a pan.. any perspective welcome, thanks!

I live in the upper suite of a fourplex and due to some ongoing lung issues I have to move from smoking to edibles. The ones I can get from dispensaries around me don’t do anything (they max out at 10mg) so I’m looking to get into making my own. The lady downstairs already hates my guts so I don’t want to make it worse by stinking up the whole place 😩

I’ve heard of the slow cooker decarbing method but no where I’ve looked really tells me how long to keep the flower in?

I’ve got a little over half an ounce left of the flower I currently have and then I’ll likely be moving to buying the premade oils, but how should I use the rest of what I’ve got?

I can imagine the basics, dry your shrooms, cut or blitz them in a blender, just add to the melted chocolate, but how do you properly dose each block and get it done without splitting the chocolate or affecting the potency?

So I've been using the same recipe for a few years now (basically some jello, bloomed gelatin, bit of citric acid, lecithin, pinch of citric acid, sorbitol, and coconut oil) and it's been going great. I was using powdered lecithin, but then got my hands on some liquid (it's more like syrup) and started using that instead. All of a sudden they started sweating out the oil like crazy during the curing process. I switched back to the powder and it's better, but still seeing a little bit of sweating. What gives? Been using a fan on them for the most recent batch, but I'm still seeing some oil coming off. Do I just need a new recipe? It's so strange, thanks in advance for any insight.

I am ready to add the tincture remaining into a new carrier oil. Based on how much has evaporated, or other aspect...how much oil would you use to improve the taste. It no longer smells of everclear. Liquid was at the rubber bands, after the freezer, post decarb (of course)
