Top Tip for Tourist Fans - Cardiff Away

Our opening match of the season is Away at Cardiff on Monday 17th August.

Ticket allocation is likely to be 3,300 and it’s quite likely that we won’t sell out.
- It’s a Monday night and there are no trains back to Wrexham.
- Many people will be away on holiday with their families.

London Paddington is the nearest mainline station to London Heathrow Airport (yes, that’s what the Bear is named after).
The direct train from London to Cardiff is 2½ hours from Paddington.

Cardiff is a brilliant city. Capital City of Wales and an absolutely fantastic night out; hundreds of great restaurants and bars; - it’s a million times better than Wrexham in that respect. They even have a castle.

The atmosphere at the match will be banging. Wrexham fans will bring the noise and Cardiff fans will be celebrating their first match back in the Championship with a Welsh derby. It will be insane.

If you’re smart, you could do a three-day return trip from the US, including accommodation and match tickets, for something close to $1,000

Hash browns have no place in a British fry-up… Stop it immediately.

They are an abhorrent transatlantic import, worse than school shootings or illegal invasions.

It’s toast or fried bread. Mitigating arguments will be accepted in certain circumstances on behalf of bubble n squeak, tattie scones, or yesterday’s new potatoes, sliced and fried.
