Saurus Warrior Color Advice
Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to painting and am really struggling with colors. I am working on some Saurus warriors and have a mixture 1:1 AK Turquoise:AK Ducat Blue I'm using for the skin. I thought putting a dark Turquoise AK ocean blue would look good but after applying it, I feel like the contrast is too strong. But I'm also worried that mixing the Ducat Blue in to the Ocean Blue will still look too dark.
I've attached a photo of the skin, and the skin next to the ocean blue dark turquoise. Third picture is a mixture of 1:1 AK Turquoise:AK Prussian Blue that I think looks a little better but may not be quite what I want. It's hard for me to judge the colors without having them physically on the model and picking color palettes has been more stressful than I expected coming in to the hobby, so I thought I would stick with "normal"/canon colors to make it simpler but I'm still struggling with... Choice paralysis, maybe?
