Hey everyone!
After painting that Croxigor I posted yesterday, I tasked myself with painting something... a bit bigger!
However! My (great) plans were thwarted twice when the banner broke (and I had to find a way to glue it back) and then even more when the staff thingy that this lovely Skink carries snapped... and the bitz disappeared into nothingness (pretty sure it's Tzeentch's fault) so I grabbed something that would generally look like it, and proceeded on with the paint!
Honnestly, despite these two not-so-happy accidents, I'm proud of the result so I guess that's cool!
So I've spent most of my time in the hobby in 40k as a Tyranids player but an absurd deal just came my way and I now own 2500 points of Seraphon (units and how many listed bellow). I'm very excited, I loved Lizardmen in Total Warhammer, making balanced combined units armies and doomstacking Stegadon.
BUT
I'm feeling a little lost too, most of my game knowledge is relevant to 40k and I know AoS can be quite different. clearly there's enough here to make a 2000pts army I'm just not really sure what that looks like for Seraphon and generally how it is they play.
Generally my understanding is that the Saurus and big units hold the objectives while ramping up strong magic for damage and mobility. but again I dont really know what that looks like lol.
I guess what I'm really asking is to the more experienced Seraphon players here if you had these units available to you what list would you build and what would be your game plan?
Big thanks to the Seraphon community here for helping justify my financial decisions.

Very few are able to carry us to victory against the forces of chaos and corruption as well as our Saurus Cavalry! So let's talk about them!
He's gonna be the start of my temple guards unit
Pretty self explanatory post. I want to swap my carno for an ark of sotek to reduce my drops to 2. What are u guys running on yours?
I currently have the Seraphon Spearhead built (1× Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur, 3× Kroxigor, and 10× Saurus Warriors), along with a Slann Starmaster and a Skink Starpriest. I'm just unsure what the best way to build and play at 1,000 points is.
My next purchase will be a unit of Aggradon Lancers + Saurus Scar-Veteran on Aggradon .
My original 1,000-point plan was:
Alternatively, I could drop the Kroxigor and run a second unit of Aggradon Lancers instead.
For those playing Seraphon at 1,000 points, what have you found works best? Is it worth taking the Scar-Veteran and doubling up on Aggradons, or are the Kroxigor still the better choice at this points level or more Saurus Warriors for objectives?
I am new to AOS and want to build Bastiladon Bunker but need help making a list. Please help me make a 2k pt list.
I was heavily inspired by all the tributes to John Blanche I saw and decided to try and work my own way around it on the miniature of the month. Still needs some good rimming and some greens on the base. What are your honest opinions? I'm still a newb and would like to improve my painting. This little guy will probably start my new Warcry warband...
So I been recently getting into AOS from playing spearhead. Love the game definitely wanting to expand into army building. My question really comes down to how do you guys go about building an army? Like right now im just playing around with tts to look at what my army can look like but dont know what is the strategy behind your guys lists. Just looking for advice before I start investing in models that may or may not be good and work.
While somewhat underwhelming on the tabletop, I absolutely love this model. There’s so much you can do with the frill on its back.
Good looking models are always amazing, and this guy is definitely one of them! Let's talk about the Astrolith Bearer!
Haven't painted Seraphon for a good couple of years now, but they where my first army since getting back into the hobby around covid time. I've painted a lot of plastic since then, so it felt so good to come back and paint one of the new Saurus and maaan they're such nice minis!
Such a glow up from the old saurus, it's inspired me to pick up the latest Spearhead Magazines to start collecting again! I've got a whole army of the old minis that could really do with a refresh.
Good to be back!
Hey gang, I’m not a seraphon player but a recent development means that I will be painting some scaled minis in the near future. I’d like some advice on how to paint them without making them look bad, I’ll likely be using Caliban green for the scales but idk how to paint the bellies/unsealed parts and have it look “normal”. I figured that if anyone could offer advice it would be the sages in this community.
Alright. Nice, high-quality imagery is going to disappear very quickly. Nevertheless, the great plan demands that we continue. And since July is the month of Saurus (It's not, I made that up), let's talk about the best and worst parts of the Saurus Oldblood! Note that this is the foot lord, not the one on the big scary lizard.
