Hello. I am a EU citizen and sell supplements on a subscription model. My Shopify account got wrongfully terminated. I had a chargeback rate of 0.8%.
My question: Can I get a merchant account from a high-risk processor, without having a SSN and without needing a US signer? Is it sufficient to have a US LLC and ITIN?

I keep seeing people on social media talk about sneakily charging customers subscriptions, even though the customer selected "one-time purchase" and i keep asking myself how that's even possible without instantly getting the funds frozen or even getting banned from Shopify Payments because of high chargeback rates. If i'm not mistaken, Shopify Payments will hold your payouts if you get a chargeback rate of 1% or higher. And I imagine that the chargeback rate would be really high if store-owners just charge their customers subscriptions even though the customer selected "one-time purchase".
Can anyone enlighten me?
