I actually got lucky with Myntra's MynCash Spin & Win and won around ₹77. I used that discount to buy this perfume. After that, though, I couldn't spin the wheel anymore I have no idea why. 😂 Maybe Myntra saw me winning and decided that was enough luck for one person. Anyways, back to the perfume.

This perfume is inspired by Tom Ford Ombre Leather, at least that's what I've heard. I can definitely pick up some leathery vibes. In the opening, I get a mix of tobacco and floral notes. The opening is nice, but the real magic happens in the dry down. That's when the leather starts coming through much more, and honestly, it smells really good.

As for performance, I get around 5–6 hours on clothes pretty easily, which is decent for the price. The best part? I actually got a compliment while wearing it. Even my sister liked it and told me it smelled really nice. Overall, I think it's a solid buy, especially if you want to try this kind of fragrance profile without spending a lot.

Alternate scents tropical vibes

So this is my first alternate scent perfume. I got it from Amazon for just ₹290.

I think this perfume is for people who want to try a tropical-smelling fragrance without spending much. What I noticed is that it's mostly coconut-based not an intense coconut, but more like a coconut body lotion. Surprisingly, it's actually pretty good.

The opening has a light coconut smell, then it becomes fruity, and the dry down is a fruity vanilla. Overall, it's a pleasant scent, but I don't think it's a clone of Paradise Garden. To me, it smells more like a tropical body lotion than Paradise Garden itself.

Performance is decent for the price. I get around 5 hours on clothes. I personally don't recommend applying it directly on your skin since we don't really know what ingredients are used in these budget fragrances.Overall, if you're looking for a cheap tropical fragrance with a body lotion vibe, it's worth trying. Just don't expect it to smell exactly like Paradise Garden.

How This Attar Changed My POV of the Perfume Industry

It all started back in 2018.

I've always been interested in fragrances, but back then, my idea of a "perfume" was limited to deodorants and cheap perfumes. I genuinely thought that was all there was. Looking back, some of those fragrances smelled decent to me, but they probably gave everyone around me a headache.

Then one day, out of pure curiosity, I decided to visit a local attar shop. I didn't have any expectations—I just wanted to see what attars were all about.

The shopkeeper patiently introduced me to several attars, letting me smell each one. Then he handed me White Oud.

The moment I smelled it, something changed.

At that time, I knew nothing about fragrance notes, accords, projection, longevity, or any perfume terminology. All I knew was that I had never experienced a scent like this before. It wasn't just something I smelled it was something I felt.

After that day, I started wearing attars regularly. As my curiosity grew, I began reading and researching fragrances. That's when I realized there was an entire world beyond deodorants and inexpensive perfumes.

To be honest, I already knew attars existed, but I always assumed they were meant for older people. I never thought they were for someone like me, so I never gave them a chance. Over time, I explored many well-known fragrances and tried decants of perfumes like Creed Aventus, Tom Ford Oud Wood, Lattafa Khamrah, and many others. Every fragrance taught me something new and helped me develop a deeper appreciation for perfumery.

But if someone asks me what truly started my fragrance journey, my answer will always be the same: White Oud.

As for its performance, it easily lasts eight hours or more on my skin. To me, it has a smooth white floral and woody character. It's neither overpowering nor boring just clean, elegant, and incredibly comforting. Even today, it's a fragrance I genuinely enjoy wearing.
