Reborn Rookie Is A Must Watch!!
Just finished watching Reborn Rookie, and man, what a great K-drama. 😋😁
I'd recommend it to everyone, regardless of your favorite genre. It has a really nice blend of thriller and rom-com, and I think it balances both genres really well.
I've also watched Reborn Rich, but for me it was much slower-paced and lacked many of the memorable, feel-good moments that Reborn Rookie delivered.
The ending was great too. >!That final switch between him and the girl was such a unique way to wrap things up. The drama probably won't get another season because of how it ended, but who knows?!<
That said, there were a few things I wish we'd gotten. >!I wanted to see the male lead and the chairman finally tell their close colleagues about the body swap, and I also would've loved more scenes between the male and female leads. I think the ending could have been a little longer, and I was really hoping the male lead would recover and return to playing football. Still, I was satisfied with the ending overall.!<
I had no idea who the girl at the end was at first, but then I found out it was Shin Ryujin from ITZY. I don't really follow K-pop, but it's always nice to see idols who have the potential to become great actors.
Overall, I really enjoyed the drama. The acting deserves a lot of praise, and the end-credit scene of the final episode was such a nice touch. It almost made me forget that the protagonists have completely different personalities in real life.
