On what basis will the credit limit be decided in Amex ecosystem? Do they start with low ?
I have 800 CIBIL score, 6 digit salary per month but customer agent told me that my credit limit is 1Lakh. I was genuinely surprised.

Applied for the HSBC TravelOne card. My application status was showing “pending” don’t know what is pending so I visited a branch and submitted the requested documents.
Few hours later, the application was put on hold again.
The tracker again says “pending” but again doesn’t mention what is missing or what action is required, leaving me completely clueless.
Tried contacting customer care, but it’s extremely difficult to reach an executive. Today, after finally getting connected, the call got disconnected before my issue was resolved.
Has anyone else faced this? How did you get your application processed?
