6 down, 2 to go

This one was a little unexpected. First try, but I expected to lose because Steelix was dominating with Iron Tail. Also, how did I never know it knew how to use Sunny Day?

5 down, 3 to go

So I took a wrong turn and got a little overprepared for this one. Took a right instead of a left after Violet City and ended up catching Red Gyarados and helping Lance defeat Team Rocket. Also, I ran into Entei(TWICE!) After that, I tried my best to avoid trainers out at sea so I could avoid being heavily overleveled. Haunter carried this fight with his combo of Hypnosis and Night Shade. Surprisingly I discovered this gym leader keeps Full Heals on him.

4 down, 4 to go

Once again, Skiploom and Geodude carried this fight. Skiploom with his combo of Sleep Powder and Leech Seed and Geodude with consecutive Magnitude ranging 8-10.

3 down, 5 to go

Skiploom and Geodude carried this fight. Sleep powder makes for simple fights and Geodude could tank Rollout like a champ

Wasn't too overleveled this time, except for Croconaw, but forgot how simply Bugsy's pokemon are. Gastly's hypnosis carried me nearly all the way until Scyther and then I had Hoppip finish him off. Croconaw took and Geodude took a break this time around.

1 down 7 to go

Hadn't played in months and decided it was time to start again. Most obviously Geodude took the lead in this fight. I was actually a little surprised that I was over leveled, I could've sworn they were supposed to be a higher level at the first gym.
