Any rom hacks that feel like vanilla?

I want to play a rom hack that doesn't feel like Kaizo in that it's just a difficulty cheese hack where a single team member can drastically change outcomes but I also something that has actual difficulty. Has some quality of life changes like the Drayano hacks.

100 Hours of Crystal

Just passed the 100th hour of my playthrough. Still need 6 more Pokemon to complete my pokedex

Can I get Scizor by trading to Gold/Silver

I'm wondering if I have Scyther with the metal jacket in Crystal, can I trade him to someone using Pokémon Gold or Silver and he'll evolve to Scizor?

Anyone notice anything different about my Crystal??

I added a battery retainer to it so I can add good quality batteries instead of soldering in those crappy non-branded ones that are pre-tabbed.

Especially good for the Gen 2 GSC Pokemon games that use the RTC that significantly drains the battery

6 down, 2 to go

This one was a little unexpected. First try, but I expected to lose because Steelix was dominating with Iron Tail. Also, how did I never know it knew how to use Sunny Day?

TIL if you headbutt trees during the day, sometimes you’ll get an already asleep Hoothoot.

I believe this is my 18th try, still no shiny.

Odd egg shiny odds are 14%? Am I just getting extraordinarily unlucky? This has been a nightmare 😭 don’t even care what I get at this point

Did yall know that the infamous move "Nightmare" actually has a competitive niche in gen 2 unlike later gens?

Because Sleep Talk is a common strategy for certain pokemon. (Zapdos, Raikou, Snorlax, etc.) It actually punishes them and can force them to switch.

Just realized that in Crystal Legacy, they added a shiny indicator to unhatched eggs. What do you think about this feature?

I think it's a cool idea, but also a bit bummed out that it takes some of the excitement out of actually seeing the shiny pop out of the egg and being surprised about it. Now, you get all the excitement when you get the egg.

For anyone wondering where I got these shinies...

- Exxeggcute was a full odds encounter from headbutting a tree

- Bulbasaur was bred using Exxeggcute's shiny genes (Exxeggcute -> Bulbasaur)

- Aerodactyl was bred using the red Gyarados' genes (Gyarados -> Ekans -> Farfetch'd -> Aerodactyl)

Roaming Suicune

Hey so I've been playing Pokemon Gold lately on my 3DS, and the only two things left for me to do are catch the roaming Suicune and evolve Larvitar into Tyranitar. My question is regarding Suicune, because I can't seem to encounter it (I need to do it so that he appears in my Pokedex and it's much easier from there). Any tips for that? I've been doing the Route 37 method, but I never fly back to the city, maybe that's the issue?

5 down, 3 to go

So I took a wrong turn and got a little overprepared for this one. Took a right instead of a left after Violet City and ended up catching Red Gyarados and helping Lance defeat Team Rocket. Also, I ran into Entei(TWICE!) After that, I tried my best to avoid trainers out at sea so I could avoid being heavily overleveled. Haunter carried this fight with his combo of Hypnosis and Night Shade. Surprisingly I discovered this gym leader keeps Full Heals on him.
